Pass the Baton…
Runners in a relay rely on each other to be in position to take hold of the baton. Which runner are you…have you set up the next person to take hold and run or are you the person in the position to run the next leg. Train/prepare person(s) to take hold and run the next leg is what leaders do…passing on knowledge, vision and affording others the opportunity to excel does not remove you from the equation. Taking hold of the baton requires you to be in position…taking hold of opportunities to excel, showing up ready to contribute and learn. The baton has been passed that we may run on to create a path/vision for generations coming behind.
